Itinerary

Omiš Old Town

Your day starts here when you check in with us at our office in the heart of the Old Town. Look for us near the Mirabella Fortress entrance - Travel Agency Old Town. From there, we'll direct you to the quads, where your guide awaits to begin the tour. The Old Town of Omiš, with structures dating back to the 13th, 15th, and 18th centuries, is the central historical area of Omiš. The town and the Cetina River are intricately and infamously connected. Omiš and the Cetina were well known in the past because of the sea-faring "pirates" and their specially built ships, which brought them fame because they were built for attack and fast retrieval into the mouth of the Cetina River. For years, the river was used strategically to protect the town from foreign invaders.

Cetina River Canyon

The Cetina is the pride and crown jewel of Omiš, located in southern Dalmatia. It has a length of 101 km, making it the most water-rich river in Croatia. Depart by kayak from the Old Town of Omiš and paddle up the winding stretches lined with natural sea grasses and native trees. You can go as far as 7km until you reach the finish point at Radman Mills Beer Garden and park. There are a few other areas you can stop at before you reach the end, like Kaštil Slanica, a local restaurant situated right on the river bank.

Adriatic Coast

Try to keep your eyes on the road as you whizz along the upper mountain roads overlooking the awesome blue water on the Adriatic coat. The Adriatic Sea separates the Italian Peninsula from the Balkan Peninsula and is the northernmost part of the Mediterranean Sea. Croatia shares the Adriatic coast with countries such as Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy, Montenegro, and Slovenia. There are over 1,300 islands, mostly along the eastern coast of the Adriatic. The Sea is well-known for its crystal clear waters and ideal swimming conditions in the summer and fall seasons. People from around the world flock to the Dalmatian coastline to enjoy the pristine beaches,  swim, snorkel, and sail the Adriatic Sea.

Gubavica Waterfall (Zadvarje)

The Gubavica Waterfall sits at 49 meters above sea level, near the village of Zadvarje, 20 km south of Omiš. In this area, there are actually two waterfalls that are less than 20 meters apart; one is called Velika Gubavica, and the other is Mala Gubavica. During the Canyoning tour, you will have the opportunity to swim right up to the falls and enjoy their dramatic drop into the pristine waters of the Cetina.

Frequently asked questions

There are two tour times available every day: 9 a.m. and 16:00. Each tour lasts about four (4) hours.

Absolutely! It’s suitable for families, with minimal walking and plenty of scenic stops. Of course, there is an age limit of 9 years old to ride on the ATV.

Yes, you do need to provide a valid driver's license if you intend to be in the driver's seat. If you are a passenger, then you are not required to possess a driver's license.

The quad (ATV) has a maximum capacity of two (2) people. No exceptions.

The starting point is located on the marina in Omiš, where we have a stand and the quads (ATVs) are all parked. This is also the site of the large parking lot across from the police station in town. You can always just come to our office in the Old Town, and we will give you directions to the starting point.

There are approximately five (5) stops along the way to the mid-way break, which is a one-hour stop at Gubavica Waterfall for swimming and hiking. Keep in mind that the guide has every right to use his discretion when choosing where and if to stop at certain locations. Weather and road conditions may change the route and the number of stops accordingly.

One way to Gubavica Waterfall in Zadvarje takes about 1.5 hours with stops. Apart from being part of the fun, the stops help to break up the driving time to the falls, making it a relaxed experience.

Less is more. Plan to bring only the essentials: water, snacks, swimsuits, towels, sunscreen, and sunglasses. You can bring a GoPro or camera for pictures, but anything lost or damaged is not our responsibility.

There's not much you can do about damages, but please be aware that you will be held responsible for covering the cost of any damages to the ATV upon returning to the parking station.
