The closest airport to Omiš is Split Airport (SPU), which is located at Cesta Dr. Franje Tuđmana 1270, 21217, Kaštel Štafilić. The distance from our office is 41.4km. In peak season, it can take well over one hour to drive to Omiš from the airport with traffic. There are taxis and busses available, and we also provide private transfers upon request.
This is a personal preference, but, in our opinion, the main attraction in Omiš is the Cetina River. The best way to see the Cetina River is on our boat cruise, which takes approximately two hours and is suitable for all ages. In addition to the river, the Old Town is an important historical neighborhood that is a must-see. If you are time-restricted, you can easily plan to see both the river and the town in a one or two-day trip.
The best time to visit Omiš is in the spring and the fall when the temperatures are moderate and the tourism traffic is not at a peak. The only drawback to coming too early or too late in the season is that some restaurants and shops will be closed. However, if you like it hot and want to ensure all attractions will be open, then come in the summer months of June, July, and August. But be warned, there are many people during this time.
International travelers can fly into Split Airport (SPU), which is the closest to Omiš. There is also the international airport in Dubrovnik (DBV), located at Dobrota 24, 20213, Močići. This airport is further, at 222 km away or about a 3-hour drive. Split is also accessible by many cruise ships, ferries, and private charters.
The best activity for younger children of all ages is the Cetina River boat cruise. It is a relaxing and easy-going boat ride with a stop at the end to Radmanove Mlinice (Radman Mills). The stop at the Mills allows you to stretch your legs, get a refreshment, or use the facilities. There is a playground and other recreational activities at the Mills available as well. For older children who are more active, white water rafting is perfect. Children as young as 3 years old can go rafting as the rapids are only level 2 out of 5.
The best activity for older adults and those with limited physical ability is the Cetina River boat cruise. A public tour is just that, open to the public. With a public tour, you will be joining other guests from around the world, which is a nice way to meet new people and break out of your comfort zone. Seating is first come, first serve.

We have recently started to do transfers to and from Vranjaća Cave, which includes a stop at a nearby restaurant for local quisine tasting. This is not a promoted tour but can be arranged for you upon special request. We also rent SUPs, water skis, and a water tube at our office.
