Your day starts here when you check in with us at our office in the heart of the Old Town. Look for us near the Mirabella Fortress entrance - Travel Agency Old Town. From there, we'll direct you to the marina, where your boat awaits to begin the tour. The Old Town of Omiš, with structures dating back to the 13th, 15th, and 18th centuries, is the central historical area of Omiš. The town and the Cetina River are intricately and infamously connected. Omiš and the Cetina were well known in the past because of the sea-faring "pirates" and their specially built ships, which brought them fame because they were built for attack and fast retrieval into the mouth of the Cetina River. For years, the river was used strategically to protect the town from foreign invaders.
Postira is the first stop on this tour and the small port lies directly across from Omiš. Postira is famous for its olive oil factory, the Olive Oil Museum, and the International Olive Picking Championship, which takes place in October. Here is definitely where we recommend you buy olive oil. Postira is a sleepy fishing village with limited cafes and restaurants, so you will have one hour of free time, which we believe is more than enough to check this place out.
Lovrečina Bay is one of the many that line island Brač. This beautiful bay, colloquially called the Blue Lagoon with crystal clear waters, is our second stop. At the Blue Lagoon, you will have a two-hour break for swimming, snorkeling, and jumping from the boat. The water is crystal clear and refreshing. At the shore, there is one beach bar and one restaurant, should you decide to sit down.
Pučišća is our last stop on this tour. Pučišća and its dramatic bay are often listed as one of the prettiest villages in Europe. It is known for its white limestone, of which many of the buildings are built, and numerous sculptures around the town. This limestone is a major part of Pučišća's economy and a point of pride for the Croatians. The largest stone quarry in Europe is located here, as is Croatia's only stonemason school, Klesarska Škola. Several historic quarries, some of them going back to Roman times, lay further east. We recommend you experience the history and charm of Pučišća's Klesarska Škola, where they are dedicated to working with the famous white stone. The Riva area is also great for local cuisine tasting with a couple of great restaurants. Here is where you can take a nice lunch break as you will have two hours in the town.
The tour starts at 9:30 a.m. and returns to Omiš at 15:00.
The starting point is the Omiš marina, where the speedboats are docked and where we have a stand. This is also the site of the big parking lot across the street from the police station. We can also give you directions to this location when you check in for the tour at our office in the Old Town.
It's not recommended, but the only way we can change the itinerary is to do the stops in reverse, starting with Pučišća and ending with Postira before returning to Omiš. Another option is to skip Postira altogether if you'd like to have more time at the Blue Lagoon or Pučišća, but we also don't recommend skipping Postira if you've never seen it.
This is a private boat experience for your family/group, so you can bring whatever you need to make your ride comfortable and enjoyable.
No, but we recommend you bring your own water, food, and snacks. You also have enough time for lunch in Pučišća and coffee in Postira.
The tour takes a total of six (6) hours, so it's great if you have limited time in Croatia and want to see the highlights of island Brač. This tour is ideal if you don't fancy too much time on the water crossing the sea before your destinations, as the Adriatic Sea is quick to cross by speedboat.
Absolutely, this tour is suitable for all ages. Life jackets are provided, and there's plenty of space for everyone on the boat.
