Your day starts here when you check in with us at our office in the heart of the Old Town. Look for us near the Mirabella Fortress entrance - Travel Agency Old Town. From there, we'll direct you to the beach, where the skis await to begin. The Old Town of Omiš, with structures dating back to the 13th, 15th, and 18th centuries, is the central historical area of Omiš. The town and the Cetina River are intricately and infamously connected. Omiš and the Cetina were well known in the past because of the sea-faring "pirates" and their specially built ships, which brought them fame because they were built for attack and fast retrieval into the mouth of the Cetina River. For years, the river was used strategically to protect the town from foreign invaders.
The Adriatic Sea separates the Italian Peninsula from the Balkan Peninsula and is the northernmost part of the Mediterranean Sea. Croatia shares the Adriatic coast with countries such as Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy, Montenegro, and Slovenia. There are over 1,300 islands, mostly along the eastern coast of the Adriatic. The Sea is well-known for its crystal clear waters and ideal swimming conditions in the summer and fall seasons. People from around the world flock to the Dalmatian coastline to enjoy the pristine beaches, swim, snorkel, and sail the Adriatic Sea.
We recommend wearing swimwear and sunscreen. We don't recommend wearing hats or sunglasses as they may fly off while driving the ski. Your shoes can stay behind at the dock near our stand, where you'll grab the life jackets before you go. We don't recommend wearing shoes that you wouldn't want to get wet (unless you leave them on the dock). As far as cameras, cell phones, and keys, we recommend you don't bring them at all just to be safe. But, if you must bring them, then there is a compartment on every jet ski where you can place these belongings while you drive. However, it is not our responsibility if they are damaged or lost while you're on the ski. Don’t forget to bring a towel and water.
Yes, you need to provide a valid boating license to rent the jet ski, and the minimum age is 18 years old. If you are younger than 18, then you can be accompanied by an adult who will drive the ski.
Not recommended. The jet ski is not meant to be in shallow water because the turbine which makes the ski work can suck up rocks, sand, and grasses when you are in low water. This will break the jet ski, and you will be responsible for damages. Besides that, it is illegal to drive too close to the beaches where people are swimming with a jet ski. You can unknowingly hurt someone while doing so.
Our Sea-Doo GTX has a 130 hp capacity.
Maximum capacity on the jet ski is two (2) people.
There's not much you can do about the damages, but please be aware that you will be held responsible for covering the cost of the damages upon returning to the beach.
